Several ways of softening hard water

when flotation machine is with water or in the ore,it is likely to contain solute mineral salts which impact pharmaceutical and mineral.it is usually carbonates, sulfates, sulfonates, calcium, magnesium, sodium, chloride and silicon compound.
the water become hard water when calcium salt increase.when using Hydroxyl acid to separate will consume a lot of agentia.how to soften hard water?

1.the hardness of carbonate can be eliminated by adding lime.
2.the hardness of non-calcium carbonate can be eliminated by soda.
3.the hardness of Non-magnesium carbonate can not be eliminated only by soda,it must addlime or caustic.
